I see that you put the rods in his ears, do you leave them in until they dry, or do you use something else to keep ears in place? Thanks and great video.

I will be covering my method of tanning soon.
I use the wire in the ears to hold them in place until they dry.

I see you use the stop rot.would this work on a hide i tanned?For some reason the hair is slipping a little down by the briskit.It is tanning as I speak right now.I have never had this happen yet.I tann all my hides with rienhardt liquid tan.Any suggestions?

You can try the stop rot, But it might be too late, Can you post a picture of the area? If it's minor handle it care fully and mount, It might be salvageable.
